John Ricciardi Partner

Mr. Ricciardi is a Partner of Madryn Asset Management, LP and serves as its Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Ricciardi is responsible for the management and oversight of Madryn’s accounting, tax, financial reporting functions, compliance program and all compliance-related initiatives. He is also actively involved in all operational and investment-related processes within the Firm and is a member of the Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Madryn, Mr. Ricciardi was the Controller of Snow Phipps Group, LLC, a private equity firm focused on middle-market buyouts with $2.3 billion in assets under management, from 2014 through 2017. Prior to joining Snow Phipps Group, Mr. Ricciardi was an Operations Associate at Siguler Guff & Company, LP, a multi-strategy private equity firm with over $11 billion in assets under management, where he was actively involved in the operational and financial processes across the firm and its investment products, from 2010 through 2014. Prior to Siguler Guff, Mr. Ricciardi was a Senior Associate within the Financial Services Practice at Rothstein Kass where he audited private equity funds and hedge funds.

Mr. Ricciardi holds a B.S. in Accounting from the College of Business and Economics at Lehigh University. Mr. Ricciardi is also a Certified Public Accountant.
